The mission of 1900 CCWR shall include, but not be limited to: (a) To further the educational programs related to water safety; (b) To search for missing or lost persons in, on or around bodies of water, except for those sought for criminal acts that could pose a potential danger to personnel; (c) To recover drowning victims; (d) the removal of victims trapped in vehicles, downed aircraft, in watercraft and on or around bodies of water; (e) To assist in the containment of hazardous materials in, on or around bodies of water; (f) The recruitment and training of a sufficient number of skilled personnel necessary to perform the functions of 1900 CCWR; (g) all other activities necessary and incidental to the preparations for and the carrying out of the foregoing functions to the best of the organization's ability.
